Sami Gauer is the Associate Sourcing Manager for Packaging Sustainability at General Mills Inc. In this role, she is accountable for delivering General Mills sustainable packaging commitments through managing supplier partnerships and influencing internal functions to adopt new packaging solutions.
Sami holds a B.S. in Supply Chain Management and Finance from the University of Minnesota. She has held several roles within the Global Sourcing Organization at General Mills across Direct and Indirect Sourcing, most recently purchasing Flexible and Film Resin Packaging. She is motivated by finding creative material solutions that address the challenged supply environment, and has a fierce passion for food, the environment, and partnership.
