Ed Klein is a founder and President of the Carton Council of North America, which is dedicated to the recycling of beverage and food cartons. Ed started his career as an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board and moved on to the Solicitors Office for OSHA, where he was

the lead attorney for health rules, such as Vinyl Chloride and OSHA’s Cancer Policy. Ed then moved to the US Environmental Protection Agency, where he joined the Senior Executive Service as Director of the Chemical Control Division where he was responsible for banning

Asbestos and later for developing EPA’s national solid waste strategy. He then joined Tetra Pak as Vice President for Environmental Affairs. He is a graduate of Penn State and New York Law School.
